Компонент Zh Google Map

Всем привет.

Компонент подправил чтобы он работал с J!1.7.

Обновил пользовательскую документацию (описал наименования div- и ul- тегов при создании списка групп), дополнительно добавил прямые ссылки на JED для скачивания.

  • Hi Dmitry
Great effort on documentation, easy to read and understand.
Latest enhancements work well, especially like Filtering in Placemarks 🙂
Have upgraded to J1.7 and all is functioning as it should.
    Cheers

      Thanks, Peter.
In 2-3 days I’ll plan to understand what is limit perfomance of component, because now I haven’t got map from your site :(. Not hiding markers by group, only displaying… (in Chrome, in FF I’ve got it for about 2-3 minutes). It is quite long time.

Now I’ve test you site (this link) from home, for displaying 🙂 in FireFox
It needs about 10 seconds for building you paths, and about 20 seconds for you markers.
All time is about 30 seconds for all, after this you can click to what you want.
I think it is normal for you data. But there are 2 moments and may be task
      1 – I’ve test from home, where I have 50 Mb/s
2 – I haven’t checked in other browsers, I’ll try it tomorrow, but I haven’t enought information about what (in average) the others have channel (Mb/s), and for what time big file (that generated from server) is loaded to client machine

And for hiding placemark it needs for about 2 seconds per one (in your site is for about 20-25 markers), and on my test site, hiding 8 markers costs about 2-3 seconds for all markers, i.e. I’ve not noticed delay. And I’ll insert new map and markers in my site to emulate your real world for checking where I can improve perfomance.

  • Sounds like a good plan of attack.
I have a 90 second lag on a 10mbs connection when hiding the Backcountry Huts icon set on the example map. Generally (in Chrome) I receive a message stating ” The following page has become unresponsive……”.
Any increase in performance would be great 🙂
