I did common use component code in module. Today all component features is supported in module, because I use the same code from component.
On this week and next week I’ll try to change plugin to use this code too.
When I did integration, I’ve fixed some translation bugs – AJAX loading content and voting was only in English. Now it is OK, fixed. Therefore component was changed too.

As for height – you have to use different template. Read more in my docs in map details page

I want to ask your help, I acquired the plugin to zh joomla google maps, and it works great, there is a feature that I want to ask if it is possible to implement, and use layers within the map, you can enable and disable your view within map , something like what they can do as ZeoGoogleMaps components, Qgistoleaft.

If you mean your own map types – you can do it.
You can see in my demos. In component create your map type, upload your map tiles and define it in map details (what map type you want to use in map) – ie enable custom map types and add into type list IDs of your map types
